Meet Your Doula
My journey started with my own first pregnancy. I remember sitting in appointments feeling rushed and pressured to make decisions I wasn’t ready for. If I hadn’t done my own research, I probably would have agreed to things that didn’t feel right. Even then, it was stressful and overwhelming.
After that, I learned what a doula was and thought, "WOW, I wish I had one."
Not long after, friends started getting pregnant, and I became the go-to person for questions, guidance, and support. I realized I loved helping women navigate this season with confidence.
Before becoming a doula, I was a teacher.
Educating and supporting families has always been part of who I am. Birth work felt like a natural next step — helping women feel informed, confident, and cared for through one of the most life-changing experiences they’ll ever have.
Birth is where I feel most at home. I offer many comfort measures like massage, counter pressure, rebozo, heat and cool packs, breathing techniques, and position changes. I give positive affirmations and prep you ahead of time with education so you feel calm, informed, and ready. My goal is for you to have the best birth experience possible. Having a doula lowers your chance of birth trauma and helps you feel empowered no matter how labor unfolds.
During prenatal visits, we talk through your hopes, fears, and preferences, practice coping techniques, and figure out what keeps you grounded. In the birth room, I adapt to your needs, support your partner, and create a calm, safe space. I help you make confident, evidence-informed decisions while keeping you centered and supported.
Labor can be intense, but with steady support and encouragement, you can move through it feeling strong, cared for, and ready to welcome your baby.
When I’m not at births, I’m a wife and mama loving the little joys of life. I like walking, going to church, cooking with my husband, reading, and hanging out with my son.
These everyday moments remind me why I love supporting families so much. I know how special and fleeting these seasons are, and I bring that same care and presence to every birth I attend.
